The original members played on hundreds of recording sessions before forming the band in 1964. Backing most of the vocalists in Jamaica at that time\, including Bob Marley\, Toots and The Maytals\, Jimmy Cliff\, Alton Ellis\, Ken Boothe\, and many more\, The Skatalites secured their place in musical history early on. After disbanding in 1965\, the individual members continued playing in various groups as the music evolved from ska to rocksteady to reggae.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nIn 1983\, The Skatalites reunited to play Reggae Sunsplash in Montego Bay and subsequently in London at The Crystal Palace for the U.K version of The Sunsplash event. A few years later they began emigrating to the U.S.A and in 1986 the first US shows began at The Village Gate in NYC. The band supported Bunny Wailer on The Liberation Tour in 1989 and followed it up in 1990 embarking on their first-ever headline tour of The U.S.A. The Skatalites have not stopped touring the world ever since and continue to be available for festivals\, casinos\, and intimate venue settings. Their unique infectious brand of authentic Jamaican ska excites audiences of all ages across the globe year after year.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n“We hope you will enjoy listening to our music as much as we enjoy performing it for you.”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nSupport: DUBWISE \nDubwise is the premiere sound system roots and culture event started in 2013 – Kingston\, Jamaica. But hidden within Vision Video’s catchy hooks and dancy beats is a nostalgic yet desperate message exploring the darker undertones of our existence. \n\n\n\n\n\n“Brilliant weavings of the sound that has made Joy Division and The Cure so loved” – The Big Takeover\n\n“Vision Video are blessed with a singer whose voice soars instead of sulks. SUMMARY:Clan Of Xymox + The Bellwether Syndicate + Astari Nite **NEW DATE** - West Palm Beach - 3/17/23
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Clan Of Xymox with special guests The Bellwether Syndicate & Astari Nite on Friday\, March 17\, 2023 @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. First South Florida show since 1991!\n\n\nTickets: https://clanofxymox2023.eventbrite.com\n*Tickets purchased on the original date will be honored.  \n\n\n\n\n\nDutch darkwave pioneers Clan Of Xymox will perform their first South Florida show since 1991 at Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. Clan of Xymox with special guests The Bellwether Syndicate – William Faith (of Faith and the Muse) and Sarah Rose (aka DJ Scary Lady Sarah)\, Astari Nite and Jolt Radio’s Shadowplay DJs. Watch Video Flyer \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClan Of Xymox\n\n\nWebsite: https://clanofxymox.com\n\n\nFacebook: http://facebook.com/clanofxymox.official\n\n\n\nInstagram: http://instagram.com/clan.of.xymox \n\n\nSince their formation in their native Holland\, Clan of Xymox has been constantly changing\, always challenging and often quite breathtaking. Formed in 80’s Amsterdam and signed to leading English independent label 4AD\, home at one time to the Cocteau Twins\, Dead Can Dance\, and Pixies among others. The 4AD period saw the release of the band’s self-titled debut album and the second album Medusa. Those two records were full of tumbling electro beats\, throbbing sequencers and moody vocals. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nClan of Xymox became one of the pioneers of the dark and moody electronic music that later became known as darkwave. Later they got signed to a subsidiary of Polygram USA. Their releases as solely Xymox were in a more synthpop/dance music vein. This period was known as their most commercial one\, having dance chart hits in the USA. \nIn 1997\, Ronny Moorings made the decision to restart Clan of Xymox and return to his musical roots in the Gothic electro scene. Since then\, the band signed to USA based Metropolis Records\, releasing a series of critically acclaimed albums. \nThe band has released 15 studio albums\, 2 DVD’s\, a remix and live album\, “Best Of” and even a covers album. In 2017\, “Days Of Black“ was released worldwide. It remains faithful to its roots and new-wave basis\, but progressively evolved towards more melodic and harmonious songs. \nClan of Xymox have done what many similar bands fail consistently to do. They’ve upped their game\, shaken things around\, plunged back into the darkness and come up with something sounding fresh\, original\, and exciting. To the great enthusiasm of their fans\, the band still tours with great energy worldwide on a constant basis. Current line-up consists of: Ronny Moorings\, Mojca\, Mario\, Sean and Daniel. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \nThe Bellwether SyndicateWebsite: http://thebellwethersyndicate.com Facebook: https://facebook.com/thebellwethersyndicate/Instagram: https://instagram.com/thebellwethersyndicate/Twitter: https://twitter.com/BellwetherSyn \nFronted by veteran artist William Faith (of Faith and the Muse) and Sarah Rose (aka DJ Scary Lady Sarah)\, The Bellwether Syndicate are\, as illustrated by their debut\, coloring outside of prescribed genre lines\, choosing here to push the boundaries of style and substance into something relevant and vital. \nWhile the music is written and recorded by William and Sarah\, the live show features collaborators Philly Peroxide (keyboards/percussion)\, Paul Sin (bass) and Faith’s long-time drummer Stevyn Grey. The Bellwether Syndicate present a powerful and commanding live performance\, where the sound and substance of the recorded work truly comes to life; where the art is made whole by the audience — and this is a band that knows how to connect with its audience: not a typical fan base\, but an engaged and invested network of family and familiars spanning the globe. \nAstari NiteWebsite: https://astarinitengp.bandcamp.comFacebook: https://facebook.com/astarinitemusicInstagram: https://instagram.com/astarinite43Twitter: https://twitter.com/astarinite \nAstari Nite crosses an obscure mix between gothic rock and post-punk\, exploring themes of death\, love and the occult. \nHaving performed alongside acts such as Peter Murphy\, The Damned\, Psychedelic Furs\, She Wants Revenge\, Cold Cave\, Assemblage 23\, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club\, Modern English and She Past Away\, they have established themselves as contemporaries of the GOTHIC ROCK scene. \nAstari Nite has released two brand new singles so far in 2021 titled All Else is a Curse and Pocket Full of Posies and can be heard at https://astarinitengp.bandcamp.com \nPlus Jolt Radio’s Shadowplay DJs \nhttp://joltradio.org/artist/shadowplay

SUMMARY:Head Automatica: Exclusive Florida Show - Miami - 6/21/23
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Head Automatica **Exclusive Florida Show** on Wednesday\, June 21st\, 2023 @ Gramps in Miami. Rain or shine.\n\nHead Automatica is back! The power pop band formed by Glassjaw vocalist Daryl Palumbo in 2003 hasn’t played live in over a decade. This will be the band’s warm-up show prior to their upcoming festival dates. Special guests Love Tempo + Staircase Spirit.\n\n\nTickets: https://headautomatica.eventbrite.com\n\n\n7:00PM (Doors) | 7:30PM (Show) | 18+ \n\n\n\n\n\nHead Automatica \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLast FM: https://www.last.fm/music/Head+Automatica\nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2cyaobEho8uxhqLxwG7j6i\n\n\n\nHead Automatica is the somewhat unlikely pairing of vocalist Daryl Palumbo (of New York City’s hardcore outfit Glassjaw) and producer Dan the Automator (aka Dan Nakamura of Gorillaz\, Handsome Boy Modeling School). Introduced by mutual friends\, the duo began work on their debut\, aiming for a sound somewhere in between the Automator‘s beats and squiggles and Palumbo’s penchant for rock and punk. When Decadence appeared in late summer 2004\, its groove was just that — a bright and trashy mix of electronics and rock & roll\, the kind of thing for which late nights were made. Palumbo and Automator put together a road band and toured in support of the record\, sharing shows with such disparate acts as Lostprophets\, Thrice\, Interpol\, and the Rapture along the way. However\, Palumbo’s ongoing battle with Crohn’s disease\, which the singer suffered from since childhood\, continued to give him problems while on the road; various tour dates had to be canceled as he spent time in hospitals to receive treatment. \nThe frontman continued to relapse as work on Head Automatica’s sophomore effort began; his sickness persisted during the bulk of the recording process. The band — now comprised of Palumbo\, drummer Larry Gorman (ex-Glassjaw)\, bassist Jarvis Morgan Holden (ex-Give Up the Ghost)\, guitarist Craig Bonich\, and keyboardist Jessie Nelson — enlisted the talents of producer Howard Benson to help create an album with a “bright\, crisp sound.” The resulting Popaganda was issued in June 2006. It proved to be an aptly named album that\, without Dan the Automator around\, largely lacked the electronics of Decadence\, instead boasting a relatively more straightforward guitar sound largely influenced by late-’70s pop. A subsequent summer tour was spent opening for Taking Back Sunday alongside Angels and Airwaves and the Subways. \n\nSupport: \nLove Tempo\nSoundcloud: https://on.soundcloud.com/k79wL\nMixcloud: https://mixcloud.com/Brad_Strickland\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/thelovetempo\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/TheLoveTempo \nDisco\, Boogie\, Funk and House done right! I think each of us have been in bands that sort of just show up\, play the gig and leave. Which is fine and sometimes that’s all you need. SUMMARY:The Hails "What's Your Motive Tour" + Cannibal Kids - Miami - 9/30/23
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents The Hails + Cannibal Kids on Saturday\, September 30th\, 2023 @ The Ground at Club Space in Miami. Join us for their homecoming show on the What’s Your Motive Tour!\n\n\nTickets: https://thehails.eventbrite.com\n\n\nEARLY SHOW! 8:00PM (Doors) | 8:30PM (Show) | 18+ \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Hails\nWebsite: https://thehailsofficial.com\nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3g65HWtAf8uyVmpR4sRbrT \nFacebook: https://facebook.com/thehailsofficial\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/the_hails\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/the_hails \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFollowing a string of encounters too strange to be coincidence\, Robbie Kingsley\, Franco Solari\, Dylan McCue\, Andre Escobar\, and Zach Levy came together to form The Hails. Despite first playing in an insular Miami high school music scene\, the band officially formed at the University of Florida in Gainesville\, turning the tattered carpeting and beer bottle-lined shelves of their shitty college house into a distinct\, refined sound that is now synonymous with their name. \nAfter graduation\, the group made the pilgrimage back to their home of Miami\, the city that directly influenced the sound of their early shimmering singles “Younger” and “Stay”\, debut EP He Seems Upset (2020)\, and the subsequent Alive in Strange Ways (2021). Recent highlights of the road include holding court at festivals including WonderStruck\, Okeechobee\, and Playground\, interspersed between sold-out shows across the state of Florida. The first half of 2022 also saw The Hails join WILLIS for West and East Coast dates. \nFiring the starting pistol of their next chapter\, The Hails released “Exonerate” in October 2022\, ushering in a flood of editorial praise from Billboard\, Consequence\, EARMILK\, and many others excited by the direction the Miami five-piece is headed in. The same weekend as the single’s release\, The Hails took it to the stage of Miami’s infamous III Points Festival\, winning the crowd’s energy over with a track that had only been out for 24 hours. \nIn 2023 The Hails plan to release singles building towards a forthcoming debut album\, and will continue to build their touring history starting with a southeastern run of shows with The Happy Fits and The Beaches. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \nCannibal Kids\nWebsite: https://cannibalkids.com\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/cannibalkidsofficial\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/cannibalkids\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/Cannibalkids \nRiding the success of their albums Bloom & deadheads\, Cannibal Kids have garnered millions of streams and thousands of fans worldwide and across the net. Rooting South Florida\, Damian Gutierrez (Vocals\, Rhythm Guitar)\, Dustin Diaz (Lead Guitar)\, and Luke Faulkingham (Drums) have proven themselves to be excellent songwriters\, competent producers\, and show-stopping performers. Gathering major support in Miami with their refreshing tropical-pop sound\, enthralling vocal melodies\, infectious guitar riffs\, and dancey grooves they’ve left their impact on the music scene and beyond. After getting signed to Shaemax Records in 2016\, the band has put out several hit singles like “Troubled Mind”\, “Love Girl” and “Voicemail” which have all peaked on college radio and streamed millions of times collectively. The band has been on nationwide tours and shared the main stage with Young the Giant\, Knox Hamilton\, Chelsea Cutler\, and many more. The demand for their shows has only increased over time\, selling out Florida performances seven times in the last two years. \nInspired by Japanese City Pop\, jazz\, indie and alternative rock such as Kero Kero Bonito\, Hiroshi Sato\, Astrud Gilberto\, and Junko Ohashi\, Cannibal Kids have been able to find a unique tone that thrives off of high energy and groovy tunes.

SUMMARY:The Ocean Blue: Exclusive Florida Show - Miami - 11/10/23
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents indie-pop legends The Ocean Blue in The Magic City on Friday\, November 10th\, 2023 @ The Ground at Club Space in Miami for an EXCLUSIVE FLORIDA SHOW! Special guests JAIALAI and celebrated Miami DJ Carlos Menendez (Fire & Ice\, Backdoor\, The Church) will get things started.\n\n\nTickets: https://theoceanbluemiami.eventbrite.com\n\n\n7:00PM (GA Doors) | 7:30PM (Show) | 5:30 (VIP Doors) | 18+ \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Ocean Blue\nWebsite: https://www.theoceanblue.com\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheOceanBlueMusic\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theoceanblue/\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/theoceanblue \n\n\n\nThe Ocean Blue arrived as the 1980s drew to a close\, and their debut record on the famed Sire Records label in 1989 seemed to summarize the best of the musical decade. The band of four teenagers from Hershey\, Pennsylvania quickly achieved widespread acclaim and radio & MTV airplay\, with top 10 Modern Rock/College Radio hits like Between Something and Nothing and Drifting\, Falling. They followed their debut release with the subtle and atmospheric Cerulean\, which included perhaps their most beloved song\, Ballerina Out of Control\, and followed that with their highest charting pop album Beneath the Rhythm and Sound and the single Sublime\, featuring a video of the band in the sublime landscape of Iceland. The band’s fourth record for Mercury/PolyGram\, See The Ocean Blue\, was a departure to a more guitar rock sound of the 60s and 70s\, but with the band’s 80s DNA peeking through. After a busy decade of recording and touring\, the band left the majors in the late 90s. Several independent releases and related touring followed in the 2000s\, including 2000’s Davy Jones Locker and 2004’s Waterworks EP\, and some wider international touring. In 2013\, after much anticipation\, the band released their first full-length record in over 10 years\, Ultramarine\, on Korda Records\, a Minneapolis-based label cooperative label the band helped launch that same year. The record was a welcome return for fans of the band and a younger generation of fans and garnered widespread praise as one of their very best albums. In 2015\, the band worked with Sire and Rhino Records to reissue their first 3 Sire albums on vinyl. The band marked the occasion by performing the first 2 albums in their entirety at limited concerts throughout the U.S. In 2016\, the band did a whole South American Tour where some of their most passionate fans reside. \nThe band has returned with their signature dream pop sound on the beautifully powerful Kings and Queens / Knaves and Thieves on Korda Records. \n\n\n\n\nSupport: \nJAIALAI\nWebsite: https://jaialaiofficial.bandcamp.com\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/jaialaiofficial\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/jaialaiofficial\nYouTube: https://youtube.com/@JAIALAIOFFICIAL \nJaialai is a psychedelic rock band based out of Miami\, Florida. Their sound may be described as a blend of krautrock\, shoegaze\, and garage rock. The band is comprised of Jose “Jovi” Adames (guitar/vocals)\, Richard Boullon (percussion)\, Mario Lemus (bass)\, and Oscar Sardiñas (guitar/vocals). They released their debut LP “Say So” in May 2019 and the “Culebra” EP in February 2020.

SUMMARY:Dead On A Sunday "Dead In Florida Tour 2024" + HADEE. - Miami Beach - 1/31/24
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Dead On A Sunday “Dead In Florida Tour 2024” with special guest: HADEE. on Wednesday\, January 31\, 2024 @ Kill Your Idol in Miami Beach.\n\n\nTickets: https://deadonasunday.eventbrite.com\n\n\n\n\n\n8:00PM (Doors) | 9:00PM (Show) | 21+\n\n\n\nThis is the debut Florida show for the darkwave/emo band from Denver\, CO.  \n\n\nDead On A Sunday\nWebsite: https://linktr.ee/deadonasunday\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/deadonasunday\nYouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UC79PQjfAoGUEu08uNjesJqw\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/deadonasunday \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoss Ryan created Dead on a Sunday because he had always wanted to sing in a rock band. But he didn’t realize that his voice sounds a lot like that of Bob Belcher\, the lead character on the popular cartoon show Bob’s Burgers. The people who caught a Dead on a Sunday TikTok noticed\, though\, and Ryan’s music went viral\, with even the supervising director of Bob’s Burgers eventually weighing in. \n“I started messing around with the TikTok thing\, like\, summer 2021. And you know\, TikTok either goes fast or it goes slow. So it was going really slow\, and I kind of backed off it a bit\, mostly out of frustration\,” Ryan recalls. “And then this last summer\, I decided to kind of go hard at it again\, because you know\, it’s the number-one entertainment app\, and it’s the only place that’s really breaking artists.” \nHe began making videos in which he re-created a popular song in the dark-wave genre\, which is also the styling of his band. In one\, he combined Mr. Kitty’s viral tune “After Dark” with the lyrics from Blink-182’s “Dammit\,” and then uploaded the band’s performance to TikTok in October. It “was growing slowly on Spotify\, maybe 100 plays a day\,” he says. “Then this guy on TikTok comments on the video and says\, ‘It sounds like Bob Belcher.’ I was like\, ‘Is that supposed to be a good thing?’ I wasn’t mad; it was funny. I didn’t have a video to post that day\, so I just took a lot of clips of us playing our last show and I tagged that comment and wrote ‘Bob-core’ over the video. And within just\, like\, seven seconds…it had hundreds of views. I went about my day\, and when I went on TikTok later\, it was at 3\,000 views\, and every time I refreshed\, people were commenting. … I’ve never had anything that translated into fans and streams of the music just overnight.” \nThe video now has more than 745\,000 views\, and a follow-up video of Ryan dressed as Bob Belcher lip-syncing the viral audio has racked up more than 100\,000. As a result\, Dead on a Sunday’s debut album\, Strange Days\, which was also released in October\, has been gaining more listens and saves day after day. \nMeanwhile\, the song that went viral\, which Ryan titled “Dammit (After Dark)\,” has more than 135\,000 plays on Spotify. “Every listener comes back on average about five times a day and listens\,” Ryan says. “It’s boosted and grown the fan base. All my accounts on all platforms have grown.” – Westword \n\n\n\n\nSupport: \nHADEE.\nWebsite: https://ffm.bio/hadee\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/hadeedosani\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/hadeedosaniofficial\nBandcamp: https://hadee.bandcamp.com \nHailing from the sunshine state\, HADEE. is an Alt-Rock artist who has burned his way into the minds of all listeners who come across him. Taking influence from 80s post-punk & new-wave\, emo/goth rock\, and a touch of classic film noir\, HADEE. finishes off this stylistic blend with a balanced mix of modernity. Laced with driving basslines and contagious melodies that bleed nostalgia\, HADEE. cuts through the noise\, delivering everything you want and didn’t know you needed. \nWith only one year down\, he has already amassed a dedicated audience and interest that extends beyond his home base of South Florida\, as well as shared the stage with such established acts like Mayday Parade and BOYS LIKE GIRLS\, all while still being an independent artist. He was also selected to perform at the 2023 Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) after winning a competition for the music video of his second single\, “KEROSENE”. \n\nAs evolution takes its course\, it is clear that HADEE. is not willing to be defined by one sound. The gemini nature of his style further intrigues the listener\, keeping them unsure of which song they enjoy more\, and even more uncertain of what may follow next. \n“Every scene has a soundtrack”. \nHADEE.’s latest single\, “POISON IVY” proves the alt-rocker has no plans of stopping now.

DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Twin Tribes “Pendulum Tour 2024” with special guests Urban Heat\, Dancing Plague\, and DJ Dino on Thursday\, March 28\, 2024 @ Gramps in Miami. This is Twin Tribes’ debut Miami show!\n\n\nTickets: https://twintribesmiami.eventbrite.com\n\n\n\n7:00PM (Doors) | 8:00PM (Show) | 21+ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTwin TribesWebsite: https://www.twin-tribes.comFacebook: https://facebook.com/TwinTribesInstagram: https://instagram.com/twin_tribesTwitter: https://twitter.com/twin_tribes\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nHailing from Texas\, Twin Tribes is an emerging force in the darkwave scene\, turning heads in 2018 with the release of their debut album “Shadows” that featured dark melodic sounds\, synthesizers\, lyrics about the undead\, and the occult and parallel universes. They returned in 2020 with the ten-track album “Ceremony” with an evolved sound that explored love and loss while showcasing their progression as a band. \nWith songs that are both dynamic and introspective\, they balance the darker shades of the emotional spectrum with an energy and momentum that gifts their music a powerful sense of urgency and drama. Their lyrics dig deep into the personal turmoil of love\, life and loss\, and have forged a new aesthetic that fuses the gothic with the romantic\, viewing emotional themes through a darker lens. \nAs their second LP gains increasing critical and commercial attention\, these pillars of the independent music scene continue to re-define what genres such as darkwave and post-punk mean in 2023. \nSupport: \nUrban Heat (“Dark 80s stylings with the energy of the now”)Website: https://urbanheatband.comYouTube: https://youtube.com/urbanheatbandInstagram: https://instagram.com/urbanheatbandFacebook: https://facebook.com/urbanheatband \n“…Urban Heat has taken Austin’s clubs and America’s goth underground in such a blitz that it feels like it suddenly arose from the ether.” – Andy O’Conner\, SPIN \n“A lightning rod of dark electro/proto-punk/new wave/synth wave/part goth/part industrial sound that is all the things but… simultaneously transcending them into something fresher.” – Laurie Gallardo\, KUTX 98.9 \nDancing PlagueWebsite: linktr.ee/dancingplaguemusicInstagram: https://instagram.com/dancingplaguemusicBandcamp: https://dancingplaguemusic.bandcamp.comFacebook: https://facebook.com/dancingplaguemusic \n“Portland’s Dancing Plague masterly combines gloomy and brooding goth-tinged darkwave moods with intensely turbulent and uncompromising EBM and techno-driving rhythms peppered with emotionally charged lyrics and haunted by his unmistakable profound baritone. SUMMARY:Stabbing Westward + The Requiem + Violent Vickie - West Palm Beach - 5/10/24
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Stabbing Westward “Chasing Ghosts Tour 2024” with special guests The Requiem and Violent Vickie on Friday\, May 10\, 2024 @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. This is their only headlining Florida show! First South Florida show since 2001!\n\n\nTickets: https://stabbingwestward.eventbrite.com\n\n\n7:00PM (Doors) | 8:00PM (Show) | 18+ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStabbing WestwardWebsite: https://stabbingwestward.comFacebook: https://facebook.com/stabbingwestwrdInstagram: https://instagram.com/stabbingwestwardBandcamp: https://stabbingwestward.bandcamp.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\nStabbing Westward is an American industrial rock band. Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus formed the band in 1985 in Macomb\, Illinois. The band released an extended play in 1992\, followed by four studio albums: Ungod (1994)\, Wither Blister Burn & Peel (1996)\, Darkest Days (1998)\, and Stabbing Westward (2001). The band announced a dissolution on February 9\, 2002. Two compilation albums were later released in 2003. Stabbing Westward reunited in 2016 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its formation and continued to perform live shows. The band’s first new album in 21 years\, Chasing Ghosts\, was released in 2022. \nThe band Stabbing Westward was formed while Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus were in college together at Western Illinois University. The pair came up with the name when they were working at WIUS-FM\, their college radio station. According to them\, the name comes from a speech from the 1950s about the nation’s fears that Communism was “stabbing westward.” \nIn 1985\, the band’s original line-up moved to Chicago. This line-up of Stabbing Westward recorded Iwo Jesus\, the band’s extended play tape with four songs\, and was released in 1991. \nThen\, in 1993\, Stabbing Westward traveled to Eden Studios in London\, England to record with producer John Fryer. They ended up recording their debut album with a major label (Columbia Records)\, Ungod. Ungod was released on the 15th of February in 1994. The album got Stabbing Westward an opening slot on Depeche Mode’s “Exotic Tour” in the summer of 1994. They also opened in North America in the fall of 1994 for Killing Joke. This all helped boost the band’s popularity and get their music out to the world. \nWither Blister Burn & Peel became a huge success in 1996. It got the band their very first certified gold album. This accomplishment was helped by their popular singles “What Do I Have to Do?” and “Shame”. They got the band on MTV\, MuchMusic\, and the radio on a heavy rotation. Following the album\, the band toured with other groups including Sponge. \nEventually\, Stabbing Westward went to Los Angeles\, California\, and began to work on their 1998 album\, called Darkest Days. The album was envisioned by the band as a story told in four acts. “Save Yourself” the first single off the album had some success. After the album\, Stabbing Westward went on to continue to tour with groups such as Placebo\, Monster Magnet\, The Cult\, and Depeche Mode. They would also go on to play in some summer festivals. \nIn 2016\, however\, the band reunited for a charity concert and has continued to play reunion shows since. Also\, in May of 2020\, the band signed with a new label to release a new album! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \n\n\n\n\nThe RequiemWebsite: https://therequiemband.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/therequiembandFacebook: https://facebook.com/therequiembandTwitter: https://twitter.com/therequiemband \nThe Requiem (ft Bloddbather’s Salem Vex) signed to Fearless Records. \nDebut album ‘A Cure To Poison The World’ out February 16 | Pre-Save Now: https://found.ee/curetopoison \nNo matter how sunny it may be in Broward County\, a different energy exists beneath the surface. Each generation it seeps out\, either in the area’s shock rock luminaries during the nineties or a bevy of post-Soundcloud rap stars in the twenty-tens. That brings us to The Requiem. The Broward County\, FL trio—Damien [vocals]\, Felipe [lead guitar]\, and Salem [bass]—piece together elements of alternative\, rock\, emo\, and even eighties into an uncompromising and undeniable vision of what music can be without boundaries. After piling up over 1 million streams independently and stirring up buzz\, the group captivate on a series of 2023 singles and more to come. \n“We want to represent our generation in the best way possible\,” exclaims Damien. “Rock music has lost the sloppiness and the vulgarity it used to have. When you’re young\, you need to embrace that attitude and danger. We want to bring all of that back to alternative music.” \nThe guys initially rallied around this mission back in 2020. Damien teamed up with Salem and Felipe. Together\, they nodded to influences as diverse as The Used\, AFI\, Pierce The Veil\, and Finch as well as Ozzy Osbourne\, Mötley Crüe\, and Genesis. They gained traction with the independent single “Corpse Party\,” reeling in 371K Spotify streams and counting. The band landed a deal with Fearless Records. In the meantime\, the musicians continued to write and record. \nViolent VickieWebsite: https://violentvickie.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/violentvickieFacebook: https://facebook.com/ViolentVickieMusicTwitter: https://twitter.com/violentvickie \nViolent Vickie is a Dark SynthRiot artist and DJ\, originally from Los Angeles and now based in Tampa\, FL. SUMMARY:Clan of Xymox "X-ODUS Tour" with Curse Mackey + SINE - Fort Lauderdale - 6/21/24
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Clan of Xymox “X-ODUS Tour” with special guests Curse Mackey + SINE on Friday\, June 21\, 2024 @ Kemistry Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale. The Dutch darkwave pioneers return to South Florida after their last sold-out show!\n\n\nTickets: https://clanofxymox.eventbrite.com\n\n\n6:30PM (Doors) | 7:00PM (Show) | 18+ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClan of XymoxWebsite: https://clanofxymox.comFacebook: http://facebook.com/clanofxymox.officialInstagram: http://instagram.com/clan.of.xymoxSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1wHmR7I0UlF58WFQexCPha \nSince their formation in their native Holland\, Clan of Xymox has been constantly changing\, always challenging and often quite breathtaking. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \nCurse MackeyWebsite: http://cursemackey.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/cursemackeyFacebook: https://facebook.com/cursemackey1Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0usgY8btlTK2oA5B2nxaSC \nCurse Mackey is a prolific industrial – darkwave performer and visual artist\, a prominent member of industrial supergroup Pigface\, as well as My Life with The Thrill Kill Kult. Founder of the notorious industrial-punk act Evil Mothers\, he began his career as a teenager DJing and producing underground events in San Antonio & Austin\, Texas. Curse Mackey’s new album\, Immoral Emporium\, due out on 09/09/22 is a riveting ten-song look forward at dark electronic music. Immoral Emporium pushes the boundaries of genre with a vast dynamic range\, from a tortured whisper to a triumphant howl. \nThe first single\, “Lacerations” is a dancefloor stomper with hypnotic vocals\, a hard-hitting chorus with wailing synths and bin-shaking beats. \nThe album moves into poppy\, upbeat club territory with the earworm “Dead Fingers Talk\,” guaranteed to get everyone moving at your city’s goth/industrial club night. The buildups are big\, such as in “Omens and Monuments”\, with monstrous synths that bring Immoral Emporium to a goosebump-inducing\, cathartic end leaving the listener looking forward to the future. \nThe album was produced by Curse Mackey and Chase Dobson (Rufus Du Sol)\, who also co-produced Instant Exorcism. Collaborators include synth wizard Justin McGrath (Nine Inch Nails\, Kanga\, The Black Queen)\, and MVTANT an exciting new industrial act from San Antonio\, Texas. The album was mastered by Ken Marshall at HiWatt Labs\, (Skinny Puppy\, Riki\, Front Line Assembly). \nSINEWebsite: http://sine.bandFacebook: https://facebook.com/SINEbandofficialInstagram: https://instagram.com/sinebandofficialYouTube: https://youtube.com/sinetv \nAustin\, Texas’ electronic/alternative rock band\, SINE (pronounced like ‘sign’\, written in all caps)\, is the brainchild of drummer/multi-instrumentalist\, Rona Rougeheart. \nRona was born in New York\, the youngest daughter of a Taiwanese mother and Irish father. She grew up as a military child\, living all over the U.S. and in Okinawa\, Japan. Her father was a musician who taught her how to play keys and guitar. It wasn’t until later\, she decided to take up drums on her own. Early in her musical career\, she played drums for multiple bands in Austin\, TX\, catching the eye of Gretsch Drums who\, in 2012\, gave her her first endorsement. Gibraltar Hardware also added her to their roster. \nSince SINE’s inception in 2016\, the band has headlined shows around Texas and has shared stages with David J and Peter Murphy’s band (Bauhaus 40 Year Celebration)\, She Wants Revenge\, 3Teeth\, Curse Mackey\, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult\, Kanga\, Twin Tribes\, Wingtips and most recently on December 2\, 2021 in Dallas\, TX with legendary EBM artists\, Nitzer Ebb. \nTIMELINE \nSINE’s debut album\, INSOMNIÆ\, was released in January 11\, 2019 and was recorded in Austin\, TX with Charles Godfrey/Scary American (also of Sonic Ranch). Godfrey\, in his two decade plus audio career\, has been engineer/producer on over 75 recordings\, including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’\, It’s Blitz! and Mosquito\, and The Black Angels Indigo Meadow. SINE also worked with Charles on the Injected release that came out on November 1\, 2019\, as well as the new forthcoming EP trilogy entitled\, Mantis\, to be released in 2022. \nIn April\, 2019\, she landed a sole opening slot with her band SINE for Peter Murphy in Orlando\, FL for the 40th Anniversary of Bauhaus Ruby Tour with David J. The night seemed ill-fated when Peter was unable to perform\, but was revitalized when she joined David J\, Curse Mackey\, Mark Gemini-Thwaite and Marc Slutsky for an impromptu performance of Bauhaus tunes.\n\nIn 2020\, unable to tour due to the shutdowns\, she began producing the television series\, Villains Wear Black Presents\, which ran for 2 seasons on television and streaming worldwide. \nIn mid 2021\, SINE was signed with the Austin\, TX based electronic industrial record label\, eMERGENCY heARTS (eH) in a perfect pairing for both the artist and the label. \nThe initial SINE release with eMERGENCY heARTS is entitled\, Desire\, Denial and Paramania\, which as released on October 7\, 2021. It’s an 11 track collection featuring select songs from SINE’s albums\, INSOMNIÆ and Injected\, recorded between the years 2016-2020 and includes collaborations with Curse Mackey (Pigface\, Evil Mothers\, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult)\, producer Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails\, 3Teeth\, Slayer) and legendary industrial vocalist Chris Connelly (Ministry\, Revolting Cocks\, Pigface) with remixes by Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto) and more. \n2021 also saw SINE collaborations with remixes from Mark Pistel (Consolidated!)\, Adrian Sherwood (Tackhead) and Black Sugar Transmission (Andee Blacksugar – KMFDM\, Blondie). The new EP trilogy\, Mantis\, will be released on eMERGENCY heARTS\, along with more collaborations in 2022. \nShe continues to write new music and work on future collaborations in music and television. \n††† \nSINE weaves dance beats with industrial noise and layers of booming bass\, synths and guitars into a mix of jagged textures and dark\, lush fusions equally at home on the dance floor\, video games and cinematic soundtracks.

The perfect time to announce The March Violets reunion! \nSince the last March Violets tour in 2015 we’ve been shocked at how many musical friends have passed over and out. And after Simon Denbigh’s life-changing stroke\, it’s no surprise we all thought that was it for the Violets. \nWhen\, in 2021\, Jungle Records released Big Soul Kiss (The BBC Sessions double album) for Record Store Day 2021 it sold out its entire pressing in 24 hours. We were amazed at the response\, absolutely amazed. We faced a choice – to fade away quietly or go out with a celebration. \nWe feel for Simon\, and honour his massive artistic contribution & intense vision as one of The March Violets founding members. He’s irreplaceable\, so we’re not going to try. We believe the legacy of The March Violets deserves a far better conclusion than sinking into silence\, and now is the right time to do it. \nThere are many surprises to come. For the first time The March Violets are releasing our full back catalogue\, with worldwide distribution via Jungle Records. \nFounder-members Rosie Garland and Tom Ashton are joined again by William Faith (musician and vocalist with Faith & the Muse\, Conflict and The Bellwether Syndicate) and we are excited to be back in the studio creating brand new material & planning live dates for 2023- 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \n\n\n\n\nRosegarden Funeral PartyWebsite: https://rosegardenfuneralparty.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/rosegardenfuneralpartyFacebook: https://facebook.com/rosegardenfuneralpartyBandcamp: https://rosegardenfuneralparty.bandcamp.com \nRising from the inferno of heartbreak with a determination towards gentility\, humility\, graciousness\, and kindness\, Rosegarden Funeral Party takes influence from life’s tragedies and spins chaos into beauty.  Leah Lane fronts the band with a voice like that of the lovechild between Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux and her guitar playing has been compared to that of Daniel Ash. with bass playing that takes obvious inspiration from Peter Hook.  With synths trapped in the loving arms of the 1980’s\, rhythmic percussion and drums inspired by dark dance floors\, Rosegarden Funeral Party prove to be the second-coming of traditional goth. \nAstari Nite **Record Release Show**Website: https://linktr.ee/AstariNiteInstagram: https://instagram.com/astarinite43Facebook: https://facebook.com/astarinitemusicTwitter: https://twitter.com/astarinite \nPre-order “Resolution of Happiness” released June 21 on Negative Gain Productions. \nWith a blend of shadowy atmospheres\, powerful rhythms\, and innovative soundscapes\, Astari Nite invites listeners into a world where conventional boundaries dissolve\, and the unexpected thrives. Resolution of Happiness transcends traditional genres\, showcasing nineties inspired alternative music with elements of dark wave\, industrial and glam. \nHaving performed alongside acts such as Peter Murphy\, The Damned\, Psychedelic Furs\, She Wants Revenge\, Cold Cave\, Vowws\, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club\, Modern English\, 3teeth and Bestial Mouths\, they have established themselves as contemporaries of the post-punk / gothic rock scene. Astari Nite also performed at Wave Gotik Treffen\, Out from The Shadows Festival\, A Murder of Crows\, among others.

SUMMARY:EYEHATEGOD + Iron Buddha + Seven Serpents - West Palm Beach - 10/26/24
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents EYEHATEGOD with special guests Iron Buddha and Seven Serpents on Saturday\, October 26\, 2024 @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. \n\nTickets: https://ehg2024.eventbrite.com\n\n“The quintessential Southern sludge band” – PITCHFORK \n“This [is] a band built on a narrative about doing the opposite of what it thought people wanted: playing slow and messy music in a fast and virtuosic time\, the 1980s speed-metal moment.” – NY TIMES \n“…True musical pioneers in every sense of the word.” – THRASHER MAGAZINE \nROLLING STONE: \nTake As Needed For The Pain – #92 on the “Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” list \nOne of “America’s great live bands” \nNew Orleans’ EYEHATEGOD is the snarling\, bilious sound of dead-end America. Since 1988\, they’ve been a soundtrack for the troubled masses. Ugly music for ugly times. That’s the sense of disenchantment and disease that lies at the heart of their latest and sixth full-length album\, A History of Nomadic Behavior. Anyone familiar with EHG’s story knows this is survivor’s music\, a sound unto itself where Sabbathian riffs are meted out with caustic anger that goes beyond punk. That’s been the blueprint since guitarist Jimmy Bower (also of NOLA supergroup\, Down) founded the band in 1988 with vocalist Michael IX Williams joining not long after. With a discography including sludge-punk mainstays like In the Name of Suffering (1990)\, Take as Needed for Pain (1993) Dopesick (1996)\, or 2014’s eponymously-titled LP\, released in the US through Housecore Records\, EHG laid the cracked foundation for their infamous and influential sound. A History of Nomadic Behavior finds the band\, now slimmed to a four-piece rounded out by bassist Gary Mader and drummer Aaron Hill\, leaner and meaner than ever; road-hardened by recent tours with Black Label Society\, Corrosion of Conformity and Napalm Death in the US\, and abroad. From the bitter pill of opener “Built Beneath the Lies” to the hypnotic haze of closer “Every Thing\, Every Day” it’s clear that EYEHATEGOD hasn’t slowed or mellowed with time. In fact\, it’s quite the opposite. This is disorienting\, uneasy listening. Music that still very much hurts. \nEYEHATEGOD\nWebsite: http://eyehategod.ee/\nFacebook: http://facebook.com/OfficialEyeHateGod/\nInstagram: http://instagram.com/EyehategodNola\nTwitter: http://twitter.com/EyehategodNola \nSupport: \n\n\nIron Buddha\nWebsite: https://linktr.ee/ironbuddhariffs\nInstagram: https://instagram.com/iron_buddha_band\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/Ironbuddha666\nBandcamp: https://ironbuddha.bandcamp.com \n\n\nIron Buddha is a three-piece sludge metal band from South Florida making waves in their underground scene. Iron Buddha is rooted in strong tradition while also breaking new ground with crushing riffs\, earth-shattering grooves\, and powerful distortion and fuzz. \nDrawing inspiration from legendary sludge metal and post-metal acts like Neurosis\, Mastodon\, ISIS\, and YOB\, Iron Buddha has created a heavy and dynamic sound unique to themselves. Their EP\, “Raze//Repose\,” is a new push in a new direction\, showcases the band’s evolution as musicians\, and solidifies their reputation as a formidable up-and-coming act. \nSeven Serpents\nWebsite: https://linktr.ee/Sevenserpents\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/sevenserpents666\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/sevenserpents/\nBandcamp: https://sevenserpents.bandcamp.com \nHailing from the swamps of South Florida since 2016. Mixing hardcore and modern metal backgrounds with sludge and stoner metal roots\, the band hopes to provide a dismal\, visceral experience with each track.

SUMMARY:Chameleons Performing the Album: Strange Times + The Veldt + Violet Silhouette - West Palm Beach - 10/28/24
DESCRIPTION:Heroes Live Entertainment presents Chameleons Performing the Album: Strange Times with special guests The Veldt and Violet Silhouette on Monday\, October 28\, 2024 @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. \n7:00PM (Doors) | 8:00PM (Show) | 18+ \n\n\n\nTickets: https://chameleons.eventbrite.com\n\n\nChameleonsFacebook: https://facebook.com/wearethechameleonsInstagram: https://instagram.com/chameleonsbandofficialWebsite: https://thechameleonsofficialonlinestore.bigcartel.com \n\n’80s post-punk take note\, Chameleons will be touring in 2024. This marks a reunion between The Chameleons frontman Mark Burgess and guitarist Reg Smithies\, who had not toured together under Chameleons name in nearly two decades until 2023’s tour with The Mission UK. The band formed in Greater Manchester UK and is known as one of the genre’s greatest bands. \nAs bass player\, singer and songwriter in iconic post-punk outfit The Chameleons\, Mark Burgess can lay claim to having influenced a multitude of artists worldwide. Previously cited by the likes of Interpol\, Editors and The National\, The Chameleons might not have enjoyed the same levels of commercial success as some of their peers but the band’s legacy lives on. \nHaving formed in 1981 only to split in 1987 before briefly reforming in 2000\, the Mancunian four-piece left behind a flawless back catalogue including three of the most pioneering long players of the post-punk era in Script Of The Bridge\, What Does Anything Mean? Basically and Strange Times. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport: \n\n\n\n\nThe VeldtWebsite: https://theveldt.supertape.siteInstagram: https://instagram.com/_TheveldtFacebook: https://facebook.com/VeldtTheBandcamp: https://theveldtmusic.bandcamp.com \nIdentical twins Daniel and Danny Chavis originally hail from Raleigh/ Chapel Hill\, North Carolina programmer Hayato Nakao\, originally from Japan\, hooked up with the Chavis brothers while living in New York. Along with Drummer Dale Miller\, Micah Gaugh Keyboardist/Saxophone\, Bassist Alex Cox and guitarist Martin Newman make up the current line up. \nLifting their band’s name from a Ray Bradbury science fiction story\, their own life stories have also been quite fantastic. After signing to Capitol Records in 1989\, The Veldt were soon in the studio with dream-gaze guru Robin Guthrie working on their initial recordings\, playing American concert halls with Cocteau Twins and The Jesus and Mary Chain\, and recording ‘Marigolds’ with Lincoln Fong (Moose). Not long after\, they would record their classic ‘Afrodisiac’ (1994)\, produced by Ray Shulman (The Sundays\, Bjork\, Sugarcubes) and released via Mercury Records. \nThey have also collaborated with TV On The Radio\, Mos Def and Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite)\, and shared the stage with The Pixies\, Throwing Muses\, Echo & The Bunnymen\, Cocteau Twins\, Manic Street Preachers\, The Jesus and Mary Chain\, Oasis\, Chuck D\, Living Colour\, and Schooly D. \nThis past year has also been pretty monumental\, with highlights including sold-out tours with Phantogram and The Brian Jonestown Massacre\, a European tour\, two separate Canadian tours\, appearance at some of North America’s and Europe’s hottest psych fests\, a spotlight feature on Time Warner Cable TV and being named as east coast support for Modern English. Performing since they were children\, the Chavis brothers’ musical roots lead back to the church and southern juke-joints\, and listening to music that included gospel\, Motown and Pink Floyd. The Veldt formed in the late 80’s in Raleigh amongst the royalty of the legendary North Carolina music scene\, including bands such as Superchunk\, Archers of Loaf\, The Connells\, Dillon Fence\, The dBs\, Squirrel Nut Zippers\, and Ryan Adams. Pitchfork recently included their album ‘Afrodisiac’ in the top 50 shoegaze albums ever released. Their sound also inspired future generations of alternative artists\, including TV On the Radio. \nThis latest EP sees the band returning to their roots\, albeit with plenty of distortion\, programmed beats and pedal effects. They’ve also involved A.R.Kane\, who produced ‘And It’s You’. Borrowing the title ‘The Shocking Fuzz of Your Electric Fur’ from an E.E. Cummings poem\, this EP includes five tracks with a raging sound influenced equally by the emotional soul of Marvin Gaye\, free jazz warriors Sun Ra and Pharaoh Sanders\, various Drake hip-hop tracks\, long-term musical kin Cocteau Twins\, and their own fertile electric imagination. \nViolet SilhouetteInstagram: https://instagram.com/violetsilhouetteofficialLinktree: https://linktr.ee/violetsilhouetteofficialBandcamp: https://violetsilhouette.bandcamp.comFacebook: https://facebook.com/violetsilhouetteofficial \nWhat happens when you mix brooding existentialism with a love of synthesizers and noise-rock? — Violet Silhouette may have an answer\, in fact\, it has all of them. Born from a tropical depression\, Violet Silhouette is an American musical duo or group that may or may not sound like how dusk feels but with more reverb. Their live shows have been called “very good” and exist with the intent of giving the viewer and performer a shared catharsis. The first EP titled SEMIPERMANENTDEREALIZATION has been considered appropriate for all mood levels\, intimate settings\, and night driving. \n“…the dance-punk/postwave triumvirate embarks on a fresh voyage\, diving deep into the multifaceted realm of “Neuromanticism.” This exotic medley of sensory experimentation\, paired with our recurrently perilous quest for the quintessence of truth and love\, pushes boundaries in the genre-bending musical landscape. Imbued with kaleidoscopic undertones and a brooding romanticism\, their sound provokes thought\, smears the lines\, and adds a new dimension to the continually evolving realms of alternative music.” Alice Teeple (Post-punk.com) \nViolet Silhouette is: \n\nZaii Valdes [vox•guitars•synthesizer•drum programming]\nDan Potvin [synthesizer•guitar•vox•sequencing]\nJustin Gianoutsos [bass]
