Hailing from Texas, Twin Tribes is an emerging force in the darkwave scene, turning heads in 2018 with the release of their debut album “Shadows” that featured dark melodic sounds, synthesizers, lyrics about the undead, and the occult and parallel universes. They returned in 2020 with the ten-track album “Ceremony” with an evolved sound that explored love and loss while showcasing their progression as a band.

With songs that are both dynamic and introspective, they balance the darker shades of the emotional spectrum with an energy and momentum that gifts their music a powerful sense of urgency and drama. Their lyrics dig deep into the personal turmoil of love, life and loss, and have forged a new aesthetic that fuses the gothic with the romantic, viewing emotional themes through a darker lens.

As their second LP gains increasing critical and commercial attention, these pillars of the independent music scene continue to re-define what genres such as darkwave and post-punk mean in 2023.

Born and raised in Miami Florida, DJ Dino has been a staple in the South Florida music scene, and a proponent of Synth-pop and Dark Electro sounds since the mid-80s and into the more recent revival scene.

Dino is behind the long-time running show SYNTHOLOGY 101 Radio, and since the show’s inception three decades ago, Dino has gained additional recognition leading to appearances at highly recognized events within the states and abroad including Wave Gotik Treffen/Dark Affair 2023 (Leipzig Germany), SYNTHCON Synthpop Festival (Los Angeles, CA), Trans Communion v1.0 Music Festival (Houston, TX), Nekropolis (Club Lazer San Juan, Puerto Rico), and more recently Absolution Fest 2023 in Tampa Florida, to name a few.

Dino has now taken up residency at Miami’s dark underground party “Malicia Goth Nights”, making it one of the hottest monthly parties in the South Florida Goth Scene. He serves his latest discoveries and the most cutting edge in goth, minimal synth, dark wave, dark electronic, synth-punk, and resurrected obscure coffin classics for baby bats and darks alike.

GRAMMY-winning guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has quickly become the defining blues voice of his generation. From his hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi to stages around the globe, the young blues star has already headlined multiple U.S. and European tours, and amazed fans in Australia, New Zealand, and India. Selected in summer 2022 to open for The Rolling Stones in London’s Hyde Park, Kingfish has also performed and toured with friends including Vampire Weekend, Jason Isbell, Steve Miller and Buddy Guy, a mentor of his, with whom he appeared on Austin City Limits.

Since he burst onto the scene in 2019, Ingram has been nominated for 10 Blues Music Awards and won them all. Rolling Stone declared, “Kingfish is one of the most exciting young guitarists in years, with a sound that encompasses B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix and Prince.” In September 2023, Kingfish released his jaw-dropping third album, Live In London. Recorded on June 6, 2023, in front of a sweaty, sold-out, standing-room-only crowd at the famous UK club, The Garage, Live In London is the guitar-driven live album Kingfish’s fans around the world have been clamoring for since they first watched him perform as a teenager on YouTube.

Mathias Lattin won the 2023 International Blues Challenge and Best Guitarist at the tender of 20-years old; conceivably making him the youngest to win both.

The grandson of NBA Hall of Famer, David “Big Daddy” Lattin, he displays his talent on the stage not the basketball court. He is a 2020 graduate of Houston’s acclaimed Kinder High School of Performing and Visual Arts. He began his foray into the Houston Blues scene when he was 12 years old. Jonn Del Toro Richardson invited him to attend the weekly Blues jam he hosted at The Big Easy. He garnered national attention when he joined the Keeshea Pratt Band (IBC 2018) in 2020. After touring with the Keeshea Pratt Band and joining Brazilian Bluesman Cris Crochemore for the 2022 IBC, Mathias decided to take a shot at the IBC as front man.


UP NEXT is the debut release of the emerging Texas musician. He wrote and produced the project which displays some of Lattin’s musical influences. The wealth and breadth of great music/musicians in the Houston music scene had a major impact on the 21-year-old Lattin. UP NEXT is proof that the music is alive and in capable hands.

The Ocean Blue arrived as the 1980s drew to a close, and their debut record on the famed Sire Records label in 1989 seemed to summarize the best of the musical decade. The band of four teenagers from Hershey, Pennsylvania quickly achieved widespread acclaim and radio & MTV airplay, with top 10 Modern Rock/College Radio hits like Between Something and Nothing and Drifting, Falling. They followed their debut release with the subtle and atmospheric Cerulean, which included perhaps their most beloved song, Ballerina Out of Control, and followed that with their highest charting pop album Beneath the Rhythm and Sound and the single Sublime, featuring a video of the band in the sublime landscape of Iceland. The band’s fourth record for Mercury/PolyGram, See The Ocean Blue, was a departure to a more guitar rock sound of the 60s and 70s, but with the band’s 80s DNA peeking through. After a busy decade of recording and touring, the band left the majors in the late 90s. Several independent releases and related touring followed in the 2000s, including 2000’s Davy Jones Locker and 2004’s Waterworks EP, and some wider international touring. In 2013, after much anticipation, the band released their first full-length record in over 10 years, Ultramarine, on Korda Records, a Minneapolis-based label cooperative label the band helped launch that same year. The record was a welcome return for fans of the band and a younger generation of fans and garnered widespread praise as one of their very best albums. In 2015, the band worked with Sire and Rhino Records to reissue their first 3 Sire albums on vinyl. The band marked the occasion by performing the first 2 albums in their entirety at limited concerts throughout the U.S. In 2016, the band did a whole South American Tour where some of their most passionate fans reside.

The band has returned with their signature dream pop sound on the beautifully powerful Kings and Queens / Knaves and Thieves on Korda Records.

Jaialai is a psychedelic rock band based out of Miami, Florida. Their sound may be described as a blend of krautrock, shoegaze, and garage rock. The band is comprised of Jose “Jovi” Adames (guitar/vocals), Richard Boullon (percussion), Mario Lemus (bass), and Oscar Sardiñas (guitar/vocals). They released their debut LP “Say So” in May 2019 and the “Culebra” EP in February 2020.
