El Paso, Texas based duo Lesser Care was founded in 2019 by Andres Chavez and Zane Pacillas. Releasing their first couple of efforts ‘True Burden’ and ‘Palm/Acquired Taste’ they aimed to make their sonic stamp on the post-punk genre, but it was with the full-length debut ‘Underneath, Beside Me’ where they truly held the subject of dreamy post-punk with an unrecognizable face. Building off the block of anticipation and maturation they released their second full-length titled ‘HEEL TURN’ in spring of 2024; an album that displayed elevation of differences and new possibilities, not only through the group’s signature gloomy sound, but through the world they were birthed into. Lesser Care is crafted by hands that bring some of the most energetic and emotional songwriting of this generation.

Night Ritualz is the sonic embodiment of moody, haunting soundscapes fused with raw energy. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Depeche Mode, Deftones, & At The Drive In, their music blurs the line between dark wave, electronic, EBM, & post-punk creating a genre they call “fuck wave.” With deep roots in Mexican culture, Night Ritualz also weaves Tejano influences into their songs, blending English and Spanish lyrics to tell stories that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. From shadowy atmospheres to pulse-pounding beats, their sound is a reflection of both sadness and vitality.

Since the release of the debut album, the band has been touring non-stop around Florida and east coast. Being able to play festivals like The Fest, III Points, Bumble Fest, and Winterlands among others.

The band’s main influences come from American rock, British rock, kraut-rock, South American rock (Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico) but we also grab a lot from experimental music, noise ambient, shoegaze, post punk. It’s that plus what each musician brings to the table, the movies we watch, our life’s experiences. It all adds.

MOLD! is currently about to release a third record and do some touring.

“Drawing from the best elements of the California psychedelic scene of the early 70s, along with a distinctly Zeppelin-esque flair, Feel captures the spirit of a bygone era, while suggesting what may be possible and still left unsaid from that heady time. They possess the keen energy, magnetism, and showmanship of the great vintage era bands without devolving into predictable cliché. Crowbar + Eyehategod “Summer U.S. Tour 2025” + Bleeth – West Palm Beach – 8/9/25

Heroes Live Entertainment presents Crowbar + Eyehategod “Summer U.S. Tour 2025” with special guest Bleeth on Saturday, August 9, 2025 @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. Crowbar and Eyehategod are both legendary sludge metal bands from New Orleans, often cited as influential in the genre, and have a history of members collaborating and touring together, with Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams also having a notable role in Crowbar.

The moment you hear it, you know it’s CROWBAR. Praised by Pitchfork, VICE, and Metal Hammer. Twice immortalized by MTV’s Beavis and Butt-Head. The group is worshipped by the heartbroken and downtrodden – those who exorcise their demons in smoke-covered riffs of mournful devastation. A genuine band’s band with a wide-ranging influence across multiple genres, Crowbar “helped draw up the sludge metal blueprints” (Kerrang!). Celebrating a recent 30th anniversary, Crowbar is led by one of the most beloved figures in heavy metal, riff overlord Kirk Windstein. His menacing bellow and smooth drawl put resilient, unrepentant strength behind even the most somber odes to suffering.

Crowbar is an American sludge metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1990. The band is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, Crowbar’s sole constant member. Infusing a slow, brooding doom metal sound with the aggression of hardcore punk, Crowbar, along with other bands in the New Orleans heavy metal scene, pioneered a style known as sludge metal, though Windstein himself has admitted a dislike for the term. The band has also covered songs from outside of their immediate genre; these include Gary Wright’s “Dream Weaver” on Equilibrium, Iron Maiden’s “Remember Tomorrow” on Odd Fellows Rest, and Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter” on Crowbar.

“The quintessential Southern sludge band” – PITCHFORK

“This [is] a band built on a narrative about doing the opposite of what it thought people wanted: playing slow and messy music in a fast and virtuosic time, the 1980s speed-metal moment.” – NY TIMES

“…True musical pioneers in every sense of the word.” – THRASHER MAGAZINE

ROLLING STONE:

Take As Needed For The Pain – #92 on the “Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” list

One of “America’s great live bands”

New Orleans’ EYEHATEGOD is the snarling, bilious sound of dead-end America. Since 1988, they’ve been a soundtrack for the troubled masses. Ugly music for ugly times. That’s the sense of disenchantment and disease that lies at the heart of their latest and sixth full-length album, A History of Nomadic Behavior. Anyone familiar with EHG’s story knows this is survivor’s music, a sound unto itself where Sabbathian riffs are meted out with caustic anger that goes beyond punk. That’s been the blueprint since guitarist Jimmy Bower (also of NOLA supergroup, Down) founded the band in 1988, with vocalist Michael IX Williams joining not long after. With a discography including sludge-punk mainstays like In the Name of Suffering (1990), Take as Needed for Pain (1993), Dopesick (1996), or 2014’s eponymously-titled LP, released in the US through Housecore Records, EHG laid the cracked foundation for their infamous and influential sound. A History of Nomadic Behavior finds the band, now slimmed to a four-piece rounded out by bassist Gary Mader and drummer Aaron Hill, leaner and meaner than ever; road-hardened by recent tours with Black Label Society, Corrosion of Conformity, and Napalm Death in the US and abroad. From the bitter pill of opener “Built Beneath the Lies” to the hypnotic haze of closer “Every Thing, Every Day,” it’s clear that EYEHATEGOD hasn’t slowed or mellowed with time. It’s quite the opposite. This is disorienting, uneasy listening. Music that still very much hurts.

Bleeth’s visceral post-metal sound is grounded in sludgy grime of heavy, driving riffs. The Miami-based Cuban-American band formed in 2015, and is composed of bassist Ryan Rivas, guitarist Lauren Palma, and drummer Hector Mojeno.

Bleeth’s first full length album Geomancer was released via Anti-Language Records (Los Angeles) on August 24, 2018.

Their 2nd full length harbinger marked a shift in a new direction—shorter and faster than past records, with particular emphasis on atypical tunings and arrangements. Bleeth signed with Seeing Red Records to release their sophomore album “Harbinger” in May 2021. SRR is a renowned independent label known for its dedication to heavy music. The album delves into themes of internal struggles with faith, societal structures, and the unknown future.

The success of “Harbinger” took Bleeth on multiple tours throughout the United States playing shows with the likes of Caveman Cult, Wrong, ASG, Weedeater, Capsule, Maggot Heart, Messa, Daikaiju, Portrayal of Guilt, Dead City Punx, Crowbar, Spirit Adrift, among others. Bleeth went back in the studio to record their forthcoming album “Marionette.” The album deals with fear of control, the self, and manipulation through injustice. The album represents the invisible double of the human, from a dual perspective: It’s an emotional and sonic journey that delves into duality—the tension between light and dark, freedom and oppression. The album is set to be released on May 29 in 2025.

After their worldwide success with their album ‘Tainted’ and their often-sold-out club concerts in America and Europe, the post-punk legends from Berlin present a new studio album. The new album and the tour are titled “BLACK SWAN”, the term for an unexpected event, which in retrospect is justified as if one could have prepared for it.

With their last album and accompanying tour, Mic Jogwer (vocals, guitar), Luca Sammuri (bass) and Paul Richter (drums) have cleared pretty much everything you could wish for as a band. Album of the Year at Byte FM, best of 2021 at Post Punk Com, singles at number 1 in the German Alternative Charts as well as the Indie Disco Top 40, excellent reviews in the worldwide music press and very well attended, if not sold-out club concerts from Los Angeles to Yerevan.

TV-MA, the latest release from New York City pop-flecked gloom rock consortium Some Days Are Darker, stands as an enthralling, eminently engaging declaration of intent.

A conceptual art piece in five sonic chapters, the record melds shimmering guitar, ethereal synths, and propulsive rhythm into work that is at once timeless and very much of the moment. Strip away the noir darkwave atmospherics and one finds deeply catching melodies lifting frontman / songwriter Lear Mason’s yearning, melancholic baritone.TV-MA is a concept album that unfolds like an anthology, and at its core is a deeply human meditation on love, loss, and rebirth.

“…Urban Heat has taken Austin’s clubs and America’s goth underground in such a blitz that it feels like it suddenly arose from the ether.” – Andy O’Conner, SPIN

“A lightning rod of dark electro/proto-punk/new wave/synth wave/part goth/part industrial sound that is all the things but… simultaneously transcending them into something fresher.” – Laurie Gallardo, KUTX 98.9

Austin is known as the music capital of the world — and Urban Heat is one of its greatest exports. The band, formed only five years ago as the brainchild of singer/multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Horstmann, has quickly become known for their fiery live shows and infectious darkwave anthems that harken back to the ‘80s with a modern sensibility. Powered by the magnetic Horstmann’s melodic baritone vocals & the pummeling rhythm section of Kevin Naquin and Paxel Foley, UH has won over fans show by show.

Appearances at major California festivals like Cruel World and Darker Waves saw Urban Heat play to their biggest audiences, with their set pointed as one of the best of the day. At home, Urban Heat has long been the talk of SXSW & graced the stage of the Austin City Limits Festival.

Now, with The Tower, we see the band at its absolute peak. Songs like the arena-ready “Seven Safe Places” and the intricately steady “Take it to Your Grave” show the band’s sonic versatility. The latter, which best exemplifies the majority of the record, is about feelings of unworthiness and fears of self-sabotage. Introspectiveness dots Horstmann’s lyrics, driving home their power and relatability.

With a headlining show at Los Angeles’ famed El Rey Theater under their belt, a North American tour, & Fall European tour with Molchat Doma, Urban Heat is ready to show the world what anyone who has seen them already knows: they’re a band that is going to dominate the airwaves for years to come.

What happens when you mix brooding existentialism with a love of synthesizers and noise-rock? — Violet Silhouette may have an answer, in fact, it has all of them. Born from a tropical depression, Violet Silhouette is an American musical duo or group that may or may not sound like how dusk feels but with more reverb. Their live shows have been called “very good” and exist with the intent of giving the viewer and performer a shared catharsis. The first EP titled SEMIPERMANENTDEREALIZATION has been considered appropriate for all mood levels, intimate settings, and night driving.

“…the dance-punk/postwave triumvirate embarks on a fresh voyage, diving deep into the multifaceted realm of “Neuromanticism.” This exotic medley of sensory experimentation, paired with our recurrently perilous quest for the quintessence of truth and love, pushes boundaries in the genre-bending musical landscape. Imbued with kaleidoscopic undertones and a brooding romanticism, their sound provokes thought, smears the lines, and adds a new dimension to the continually evolving realms of alternative music.” Alice Teeple (Post-punk.com)

Rising from the inferno of heartbreak with a determination towards gentility, humility, graciousness, and kindness, Rosegarden Funeral Party takes influence from life’s tragedies and spins chaos into beauty.  Leah Lane fronts the band with a voice like that of the lovechild between Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux and her guitar playing has been compared to that of Daniel Ash. with bass playing that takes obvious inspiration from Peter Hook.  With synths trapped in the loving arms of the 1980’s, rhythmic percussion and drums inspired by dark dance floors, Rosegarden Funeral Party prove to be the second-coming of traditional goth.

Having performed alongside acts such as Peter Murphy, The Damned, Psychedelic Furs, She Wants Revenge, Cold Cave, Vowws, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Modern English, 3teeth and Bestial Mouths, they have established themselves as contemporaries of the post-punk / gothic rock scene. Astari Nite also performed at Wave Gotik Treffen, Out from The Shadows Festival, A Murder of Crows, among others.

Marked by its androgynous visual identity, eerie themes, and melancholic synth pop, Drab Majesty is a project led by Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Andrew Clinco, who records under the alter ego Deb DeMure. Mixing the sonic aesthetic of early 4AD artists with elements of goth and new wave, Clinco issued a scattering of indie releases before signing with DAIS Records. After 2015’s Careless, he was joined by collaborator Alex Nicolaou (aka Mona D) on subsequent releases including 2017’s mass suicide-themed concept album The Demonstration and 2019’s dense, synth-driven Modern Mirror. Drab Majesty returned in 2023 with the four-song mini-album An Object in Motion which featured a collaboration with Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell.

Hatched inside a vulture’s nest, Jacuzzi Boys emerged from deep within the Florida wilds, three radioactive chicks cawing for their piece of electric rock pie. Since then, they’ve released four full-length LPs, multiple singles, and most recently, two EPs Dipped and Glue via their imprint MAG MAG. And it’s with this bag of tunes in tow, that they’ve toured the world, and Europe, and even the United States, with some of the most infamous names in rock like King Khan and the Shrines, Man or Astroman?, Vampire Weekend, the Raconteurs and their adopted uncle Iggy Pop. So the next time they’re in your town, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
