ULTRA SUNN is a contemporary EBM/Coldwave/New Beat band from Brussels, Belgium, formed in late 2019 by frontman and multi-instrumentalist Sam Huge and keyboardist/producer Gaelle Souflet. In 2023, they were joined on stage by keyboardist and percussionist Alexis Andrigo.

ULTRA SUNN expresses a desire for modernity through its themes, fresh approach to sounds and collaborations (Kontravoid, Kris Baha, Curses, Sarin) while being the heirs of the famous Sound Of Belgium and classical EBM. ULTRA SUNN regularly played alongside Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, DAF or A Split Second.

In 2020 with the release of their hit “Keep Your Eyes Peeled,” the duo gained widespread recognition, performing concerts all around the world, from Brussels to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Calgary, Sao Paulo, Mexico, Bogota, Berlin, London, and many more.

The band already released 3 EPs called ‘Night is Mine’, ‘Body Electric’ and ‘Kill Your Idols’, all borrowing from their activities in classical arts and fashion shows, their New Beat and EBM inspirations and their desire to create dancing and luminous hymns about self improvement, gender equality, fight against anxiety. Always with an inclusive, powerful and positive spirit.

In 2023, ULTRA SUNN signed a worldwide, multi-album deal with Canadian-based label Artoffact Records then embarked on a tour in Latin America, (Mexico, Medellin, Bogota, Lima, Santiago, and Sao Paulo).

The duo annonces their first full LP for April 2024 as well as two USA tours for Spring and Fall 2024. The first tour will include the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas then Los Angeles, the band will also play up the west coast to end in Vancouver, Canada. The second tour will start from New York, go down the east coast to Florida then pass through Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee among other places, and end in Chicago.

ULTRA SUNN is already rescheduled across Europe, and will stop at the Orangerie, Botanique in Brussels, in their home town to celebrate the release of ‘US’, their long-awaited first full album.

Since their inception in 2009, Berlin via NYC & LA outfit Bestial Mouths have been creating some of the most powerful darkwave in the musical underground. Now guided primarily by frontwoman and co-founder Lynette Cerezo, whose vocals range from operatic, extended-technique furies to shouted monologues, the band are a medium for pure, intense emotion.

Miss FD is an underground dark electronic music artist, singer, songwriter, producer, and performer.

Her distinctive musical style blends darkwave, cyberpunk, industrial, and dark synthpop influences, complemented by her signature dynamic vocals which range from ethereal to empowering and edgy.

With a discography spanning multiple albums and collaborations, Miss FD’s most recent releases underscore her commitment to the dark electronic music scene. Her 2021 three-song EP “Adore”, followed by her single “Your Core”, showcase futuristic and cyberpunk elements. 2022 witnessed the release of her exploration of Gobekli Tepe in her three-song dark pop EP, “As Above, So Below”, followed by her cyberpunk single “Menticide” released the same year. Miss FD released her cyber-industrial single and cinematic music video for “Distractions” in 2023, followed by her most recent 2024 single release “Syndicated”.

DJ / Drummer from Miami Florida, DJ Dino has been a staple in the South Florida music scene, and a proponent of all wave and dark electronic music since the mid 80s and into the more recent revival scene. Dino is behind the long-time running show SYNTHOLOGY 101 Radio, and has taken up residency at Miami’s dark underground party “Malicia Goth Nights”, making it one of the hottest monthly events in the South Florida Goth Scene. Here is where he serves his latest discoveries and the most cutting edge in goth, minimal synth, upperwave, post punk revival, darkwave, EBM, italo, and resurrected obscure coffin classics for the baby bats and darks alike. As a side note, Dino (formerly of Formula Redux) is the current drummer for Nutrix Recordings and Mannequin Records recording artist “Life In Sodom”, who were a big part of the golden age of Goth music in the 1990s, and have been actively releasing music since 1991.

Hailing from Texas, Twin Tribes is an emerging force in the darkwave scene, turning heads in 2018 with the release of their debut album “Shadows” that featured dark melodic sounds, synthesizers, lyrics about the undead, and the occult and parallel universes. They returned in 2020 with the ten-track album “Ceremony” with an evolved sound that explored love and loss while showcasing their progression as a band.

GRAMMY-winning guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has quickly become the defining blues voice of his generation. From his hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi to stages around the globe, the young blues star has already headlined multiple U.S. and European tours, and amazed fans in Australia, New Zealand, and India. Selected in summer 2022 to open for The Rolling Stones in London’s Hyde Park, Kingfish has also performed and toured with friends including Vampire Weekend, Jason Isbell, Steve Miller and Buddy Guy, a mentor of his, with whom he appeared on Austin City Limits.

Since he burst onto the scene in 2019, Ingram has been nominated for 10 Blues Music Awards and won them all. Mathias Lattin won the 2023 International Blues Challenge and Best Guitarist at the tender of 20-years old; conceivably making him the youngest to win both.

The grandson of NBA Hall of Famer, David “Big Daddy” Lattin, he displays his talent on the stage not the basketball court. He is a 2020 graduate of Houston’s acclaimed Kinder High School of Performing and Visual Arts. He began his foray into the Houston Blues scene when he was 12 years old. Jonn Del Toro Richardson invited him to attend the weekly Blues jam he hosted at The Big Easy. He garnered national attention when he joined the Keeshea Pratt Band (IBC 2018) in 2020. After touring with the Keeshea Pratt Band and joining Brazilian Bluesman Cris Crochemore for the 2022 IBC, Mathias decided to take a shot at the IBC as front man.


UP NEXT is the debut release of the emerging Texas musician. He wrote and produced the project which displays some of Lattin’s musical influences. The wealth and breadth of great music/musicians in the Houston music scene had a major impact on the 21-year-old Lattin. UP NEXT is proof that the music is alive and in capable hands.

Ross Ryan created Dead on a Sunday because he had always wanted to sing in a rock band. But he didn’t realize that his voice sounds a lot like that of Bob Belcher, the lead character on the popular cartoon show Bob’s Burgers. The people who caught a Dead on a Sunday TikTok noticed, though, and Ryan’s music went viral, with even the supervising director of Bob’s Burgers eventually weighing in.

“I started messing around with the TikTok thing, like, summer 2021. And you know, TikTok either goes fast or it goes slow. So it was going really slow, and I kind of backed off it a bit, mostly out of frustration,” Ryan recalls. “And then this last summer, I decided to kind of go hard at it again, because you know, it’s the number-one entertainment app, and it’s the only place that’s really breaking artists.”

He began making videos in which he re-created a popular song in the dark-wave genre, which is also the styling of his band. In one, he combined Mr. Kitty’s viral tune “After Dark” with the lyrics from Blink-182’s “Dammit,” and then uploaded the band’s performance to TikTok in October. It “was growing slowly on Spotify, maybe 100 plays a day,” he says. “Then this guy on TikTok comments on the video and says, ‘It sounds like Bob Belcher.’ I was like, ‘Is that supposed to be a good thing?’ I wasn’t mad; it was funny. I didn’t have a video to post that day, so I just took a lot of clips of us playing our last show and I tagged that comment and wrote ‘Bob-core’ over the video. And within just, like, seven seconds…it had hundreds of views. I went about my day, and when I went on TikTok later, it was at 3,000 views, and every time I refreshed, people were commenting. … I’ve never had anything that translated into fans and streams of the music just overnight.”

The video now has more than 745,000 views, and a follow-up video of Ryan dressed as Bob Belcher lip-syncing the viral audio has racked up more than 100,000. As a result, Dead on a Sunday’s debut album, Strange Days, which was also released in October, has been gaining more listens and saves day after day.

Meanwhile, the song that went viral, which Ryan titled “Dammit (After Dark),” has more than 135,000 plays on Spotify. “Every listener comes back on average about five times a day and listens,” Ryan says. “It’s boosted and grown the fan base. All my accounts on all platforms have grown.” – Westword

With only one year down, he has already amassed a dedicated audience and interest that extends beyond his home base of South Florida, as well as shared the stage with such established acts like Mayday Parade and BOYS LIKE GIRLS, all while still being an independent artist. He was also selected to perform at the 2023 Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) after winning a competition for the music video of his second single, “KEROSENE”.

As evolution takes its course, it is clear that HADEE. is not willing to be defined by one sound. The gemini nature of his style further intrigues the listener, keeping them unsure of which song they enjoy more, and even more uncertain of what may follow next.

¡Mayday! (stylized in all caps as ¡MAYD∀Y!) is a hip hop/rock group from Miami. The group comprises rappers Bernardo “Bernz” Garcia and Ben “Wrekonize” Miller, along with producer and percussionist Andrews “NonMS” Mujica. Until 2015, the group also included keyboard player and guitarist Aaron Eckhart (a.k.a. Plex Luthor), drummer Terrel (a.k.a. L T Hopkins), and bassist Gianni Perocapi (a.k.a. Gianni Ca$h). The band was formerly signed to Tech N9ne and Travis O’Guin’s Strange Music label. As of May 1, 2022, all future releases will be on their own label Mayday Music distributed by It Goes Up.

Following a string of encounters too strange to be coincidence, Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, Andre Escobar, and Zach Levy came together to form The Hails. Despite first playing in an insular Miami high school music scene, the band officially formed at the University of Florida in Gainesville, turning the tattered carpeting and beer bottle-lined shelves of their shitty college house into a distinct, refined sound that is now synonymous with their name.

After graduation, the group made the pilgrimage back to their home of Miami, the city that directly influenced the sound of their early shimmering singles “Younger” and “Stay”, debut EP He Seems Upset (2020), and the subsequent Alive in Strange Ways (2021). Recent highlights of the road include holding court at festivals including WonderStruck, Okeechobee, and Playground, interspersed between sold-out shows across the state of Florida. The first half of 2022 also saw The Hails join WILLIS for West and East Coast dates.

Firing the starting pistol of their next chapter, The Hails released “Exonerate” in October 2022, ushering in a flood of editorial praise from Billboard, Consequence, EARMILK, and many others excited by the direction the Miami five-piece is headed in. The same weekend as the single’s release, The Hails took it to the stage of Miami’s infamous III Points Festival, winning the crowd’s energy over with a track that had only been out for 24 hours.

In 2023 The Hails plan to release singles building towards a forthcoming debut album, and will continue to build their touring history starting with a southeastern run of shows with The Happy Fits and The Beaches.

Head Automatica

Head Automatica is the somewhat unlikely pairing of vocalist Daryl Palumbo (of New York City’s hardcore outfit Glassjaw) and producer Dan the Automator (aka Dan Nakamura of Gorillaz, Handsome Boy Modeling School). Introduced by mutual friends, the duo began work on their debut, aiming for a sound somewhere in between the Automator‘s beats and squiggles and Palumbo’s penchant for rock and punk. When Decadence appeared in late summer 2004, its groove was just that — a bright and trashy mix of electronics and rock & roll, the kind of thing for which late nights were made. Palumbo and Automator put together a road band and toured in support of the record, sharing shows with such disparate acts as Lostprophets, Thrice, Interpol, and the Rapture along the way. However, Palumbo’s ongoing battle with Crohn’s disease, which the singer suffered from since childhood, continued to give him problems while on the road; various tour dates had to be canceled as he spent time in hospitals to receive treatment.

The frontman continued to relapse as work on Head Automatica’s sophomore effort began; his sickness persisted during the bulk of the recording process. The band — now comprised of Palumbo, drummer Larry Gorman (ex-Glassjaw), bassist Jarvis Morgan Holden (ex-Give Up the Ghost), guitarist Craig Bonich, and keyboardist Jessie Nelson — enlisted the talents of producer Howard Benson to help create an album with a “bright, crisp sound.” The resulting Popaganda was issued in June 2006. It proved to be an aptly named album that, without Dan the Automator around, largely lacked the electronics of Decadence, instead boasting a relatively more straightforward guitar sound largely influenced by late-’70s pop. A subsequent summer tour was spent opening for Taking Back Sunday alongside Angels and Airwaves and the Subways.
