Eyehategod: A History of Nomadic Behavior Tour – 10/24/21
Heroes Live Entertainment presents EYEHATEGOD with Ether Coven and Seven Serpents @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach.
Eyehategod has become one of the most important bands to emerge from the NOLA metal scene. Heavy, detuned, and bluesy guitar riffs dominate the band’s sound. They are combined with walls of feedback and tortured vocals to create a harsh misanthropic vibe. They are part of a Southern sludgecore scene that included bands like Crowbar and Down, all of whom were heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, Black Flag, and the Melvins. Eyehategod was the brainchild of guitarist Jimmy Bower and drummer Joe LaCaze; the two recruited vocalist Mike IX Williams, lead guitarist Brian Patton, and bassist Steve Dale, and debuted in 1992 with the album In the Name of Suffering.
Windhand **Free Show** – 1/27/19
Heroes Live Entertainment & Las Rosas present Windhand **Free Show** with Genocide Pact, Ether & Absolver @ Las Rosas in Miami. Early arrival strongly suggested. Space is limited.
New album “Eternal Return” out on Relapse represents a new era for the group, a chrysalis moment that takes them to new and unforeseen heights. Once again the band has joined forces with producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden) with vivid artwork by Arik Roper (Sleep, High on Fire). Equally informed by heavy, fuzzed-out psych along with the iconic grunge / alternative groups of the 90s, WINDHAND has crafted a record brilliant in scope, powerful in execution, and perfect for an era of increasingly blurry yet still heavy borders.
