El Paso, Texas based duo Lesser Care was founded in 2019 by Andres Chavez and Zane Pacillas. Releasing their first couple of efforts ‘True Burden’ and ‘Palm/Acquired Taste’ they aimed to make their sonic stamp on the post-punk genre, but it was with the full-length debut ‘Underneath, Beside Me’ where they truly held the subject of dreamy post-punk with an unrecognizable face. Building off the block of anticipation and maturation they released their second full-length titled ‘HEEL TURN’ in spring of 2024; an album that displayed elevation of differences and new possibilities, not only through the group’s signature gloomy sound, but through the world they were birthed into. Lesser Care is crafted by hands that bring some of the most energetic and emotional songwriting of this generation.

MOLD! Is a band funded by Peruvian blood Carlo Barbacci who relocated to South Florida in 2018 hoping to bring a new sound to the table. In collaboration with many other local homies, it was possible for the release of NO SILENCE! LP (2020) and MOLD! LP (2022).

Since the release of the debut album, the band has been touring non-stop around Florida and east coast. Being able to play festivals like The Fest, III Points, Bumble Fest, and Winterlands among others.

The band’s main influences come from American rock, British rock, kraut-rock, South American rock (Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico) but we also grab a lot from experimental music, noise ambient, shoegaze, post punk. It’s that plus what each musician brings to the table, the movies we watch, our life’s experiences. It all adds.

MOLD! is currently about to release a third record and do some touring.

Crowbar is an American sludge metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1990. The band is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, Crowbar’s sole constant member. Infusing a slow, brooding doom metal sound with the aggression of hardcore punk, Crowbar, along with other bands in the New Orleans heavy metal scene, pioneered a style known as sludge metal, though Windstein himself has admitted a dislike for the term. New Orleans’ EYEHATEGOD is the snarling, bilious sound of dead-end America. Since 1988, they’ve been a soundtrack for the troubled masses. Ugly music for ugly times. That’s the sense of disenchantment and disease that lies at the heart of their latest and sixth full-length album, A History of Nomadic Behavior. Anyone familiar with EHG’s story knows this is survivor’s music, a sound unto itself where Sabbathian riffs are meted out with caustic anger that goes beyond punk. That’s been the blueprint since guitarist Jimmy Bower (also of NOLA supergroup, Down) founded the band in 1988, with vocalist Michael IX Williams joining not long after. With a discography including sludge-punk mainstays like In the Name of Suffering (1990), Take as Needed for Pain (1993), Dopesick (1996), or 2014’s eponymously-titled LP, released in the US through Housecore Records, EHG laid the cracked foundation for their infamous and influential sound. A History of Nomadic Behavior finds the band, now slimmed to a four-piece rounded out by bassist Gary Mader and drummer Aaron Hill, leaner and meaner than ever; road-hardened by recent tours with Black Label Society, Corrosion of Conformity, and Napalm Death in the US and abroad. From the bitter pill of opener “Built Beneath the Lies” to the hypnotic haze of closer “Every Thing, Every Day,” it’s clear that EYEHATEGOD hasn’t slowed or mellowed with time. It’s quite the opposite. This is disorienting, uneasy listening. Music that still very much hurts.

Bleeth’s visceral post-metal sound is grounded in sludgy grime of heavy, driving riffs. The Miami-based Cuban-American band formed in 2015, and is composed of bassist Ryan Rivas, guitarist Lauren Palma, and drummer Hector Mojeno.

Bleeth’s first full length album Geomancer was released via Anti-Language Records (Los Angeles) on August 24, 2018.

Their 2nd full length harbinger marked a shift in a new direction—shorter and faster than past records, with particular emphasis on atypical tunings and arrangements. Bleeth signed with Seeing Red Records to release their sophomore album “Harbinger” in May 2021. SRR is a renowned independent label known for its dedication to heavy music. The album delves into themes of internal struggles with faith, societal structures, and the unknown future.

The success of “Harbinger” took Bleeth on multiple tours throughout the United States playing shows with the likes of Caveman Cult, Wrong, ASG, Weedeater, Capsule, Maggot Heart, Messa, Daikaiju, Portrayal of Guilt, Dead City Punx, Crowbar, Spirit Adrift, among others. Bleeth went back in the studio to record their forthcoming album “Marionette.” The album deals with fear of control, the self, and manipulation through injustice. The album represents the invisible double of the human, from a dual perspective: It’s an emotional and sonic journey that delves into duality—the tension between light and dark, freedom and oppression. The album is set to be released on May 29 in 2025.

Heroes Live Entertainment has joined community partners The Rhythm Foundation and Poplife to present Peter Hook & The Light with special guest DJ Arthur Baker on Saturday, June 14, 2025 @ Miami Beach Bandshell. Peter Hook & The Light will be performing ‘Get Ready’ live and in full plus a selection of Joy Division and New Order’s Greatest Hits.

As the legendary bassist of both bands, Peter Hook was instrumental in shaping the post-punk and new wave movements, co-founding Joy Division in the late ’70s and later transitioning into New Order after the tragic loss of Ian Curtis. With Joy Division, Hook helped craft the brooding, atmospheric sound that defined a generation, with classics like Love Will Tear Us Apart and Disorder. In the ’80s, New Order fused post-punk with electronic dance music, producing era-defining hits like Blue Monday and Bizarre Love Triangle.

Now, with The Light, Hook keeps this legacy alive, performing these groundbreaking songs with the raw energy and passion that made them timeless.

Arthur Baker is an American record producer and DJ best known for his work with hip hop artists like Afrika Bambaataa and Planet Patrol, as well as British group New Order. He is also known for remixing the Jill Jones song “Mia Bocca” on the 12″ single, taken from her self-titled debut album Jill Jones (1987), released on Prince’s Paisley Park Records, as well as remixing the Pet Shop Boys song, “In the Night”. His remix of the song was used as the main theme for the BBC TV programme The Clothes Show between 1986 and 1994. He also remixed the “Massive Jungle Mix” for Tina Turner’s UL top 40 single “Whatever You Want” (co-written by himself, Taylor Dayne and Fred Zarr). The group’s style has been described as “post-punk,” “goth,” and “death rock” and combines a fierce love of rock music with darker electronic and esoteric elements. Automelodi is the main musical project of Canadian songwriter/producer Xavier Paradis, formerly known as Arnaud Lazlaud and later as Echo Kitty, who has been playing since the mid-’90s in the purest Neue Deutsche Welle and Fad Gadget styles.

Formed in 2006, Automelodi is a constantly evolving project based around the solo work of songwriter/producer Xavier Paradis. With a career that spans over two decades, Paradis is a well-established figure in Montreal’s dense electronic music culture, releasing over time with various projects, performance line-ups, or under different monikers such as Arnaud Lazlaud. He also collaborates with artists like Liz Wendelbo (of Xeno & Oaklander) as the duo Liz and László, as well as Latvian Producer Dmitry Distant.

Automelodi’s music embraces and re-contextualizes a spectrum of influences that include the lesser-known European synthpop and post-punk of the latter Twentieth Century, combined with literary stylizations reminiscent of Gallic songwriters such as Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Fontaine—with nearly all vocals delivered in French. Following the self-released first EP, an eponymous album was released in 2010 by the now defunct Brooklyn label Wierd Records. The second LP, “Surlendemains acides”, was released in digital format in 2013. A third LP, “Mirages au futur verre-brisé,” was released in 2019 on Austin’s Holodeck Records. The release was followed that same year by an extensive tour of Europe. Automelodi resumed touring in 2023, with several dates across the USA, and is currently working on a collection of new songs, including some singles to be released in 2024/2025.

In parallel to his work as Automelodi, Paradis has also been very active over the past two decades as a music producer, focusing primarily on mixing and remixing for other projects and artists such as Bootblacks, Silent EM, The Harrow, and Laura Krieg.

Night Foundation is the instrumental solo project of multimedia artist Richard Vergez. It explores existential soundscapes, utilizing analogue hardware, including vintage synthesizers, found percussion, tape effects, and manipulated wind instruments. There is a deep inspiration from Krautrock, film music, early industrial and ambient music, and the dark, rhythmic pulse of post-punk. His music has seen physical release on labels spanning the UK, Germany, Lithuania, and the US. A most recent vinyl release on his label, Noir Age, features underground legend Little Annie.

Violent Vickie is a Dark SynthRiot artist and DJ, originally from Los Angeles and now based in West Palm Beach, FL. Vickie has toured with Hanin Elias of Atari Teenage Riot and shared the stage with Pastel Ghost, Trans X, Missing Persons,  Assemblage 23, and Them Are Us Too.  Violent Vickie recently played Absolution Fest where she shared the stage with Traitrs, Vision Video, and Creux Lies.

Vickie has been featured in Post Punk, EDM Joy, Medium, and Curve Magazine.  Vickie’s tracks have been selected for Fresh on the Net (UK) and she recently released a DJ mix for Rinse France. Vickie has toured the US, Europe, Mexico and Canada and played Occupy Oakland, Insted Fest, Shoutback Fest, Gay Prides & Ladyfests.

Violent Vickie’s music has been released by Crunch Pod (LA), Emerald & Doreen Recordings (Berlin), Riot Grrrl Berlin, and LoveCraft Bar (PDX). Her track “The Wolf“ was featured in a National Organization for Women film. She was interviewed for the documentary “GRRRL”, part of the museum exhibit “Alien She”. Her LP “Monster Alley” was voted best album by KALX and her tracks have been remixed by 30+ artists.

Vickie’s sophomore LP Division was released in September 2020 on Crunch Pod, a remix album for her song “Under the Gun” was released in February 2021 on Emerald & Doreen Recordings, and she released Division Remixes LP in 2022 featuring remixes by Fragrance, Kontravoid, Dimension 23, and Maduro.
