Peter Hook & The Light – Miami Beach – 6/14/25

Heroes Live Entertainment has joined community partners The Rhythm Foundation and Poplife to present Peter Hook & The Light on Saturday, June 14, 2025 @ Miami Beach Bandshell. Peter Hook & The Light will be performing ‘Get Ready’ live and in full plus a selection of Joy Division and New Order’s Greatest Hits.

As the legendary bassist of both bands, Peter Hook was instrumental in shaping the post-punk and new wave movements, co-founding Joy Division in the late ’70s and later transitioning into New Order after the tragic loss of Ian Curtis. With Joy Division, Hook helped craft the brooding, atmospheric sound that defined a generation, with classics like Love Will Tear Us Apart and Disorder. In the ’80s, New Order fused post-punk with electronic dance music, producing era-defining hits like Blue Monday and Bizarre Love Triangle.

Now, with The Light, Hook keeps this legacy alive, performing these groundbreaking songs with the raw energy and passion that made them timeless.

Automelodi + Night Foundation – Miami Beach – 10/19/25

Heroes Live Entertainment presents Automelodi with special guest Night Foundation on Sunday, October 19, 2025 @ Kill Your Idol in Miami Beach.

Tickets: https://automelodi.eventbrite.com

8:00PM (Doors) | 9:00PM (Show) | 21+

Automelodi is the main musical project of Canadian songwriter/producer Xavier Paradis, formerly known as Arnaud Lazlaud and later as Echo Kitty, who has been playing since the mid-’90s in the purest Neue Deutsche Welle and Fad Gadget styles.

Formed in 2006, Automelodi is a constantly evolving project based around the solo work of songwriter/producer Xavier Paradis. With a career that spans over two decades, Paradis is a well-established figure in Montreal’s dense electronic music culture, releasing over time with various projects, performance line-ups, or under different monikers such as Arnaud Lazlaud. He also collaborates with artists like Liz Wendelbo (of Xeno & Oaklander) as the duo Liz and László, as well as Latvian Producer Dmitry Distant.

Automelodi’s music embraces and re-contextualizes a spectrum of influences that include the lesser-known European synthpop and post-punk of the latter Twentieth Century, combined with literary stylizations reminiscent of Gallic songwriters such as Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Fontaine—with nearly all vocals delivered in French. Following the self-released first EP, an eponymous album was released in 2010 by the now defunct Brooklyn label Wierd Records. The second LP, “Surlendemains acides”, was released in digital format in 2013. A third LP, “Mirages au futur verre-brisé,” was released in 2019 on Austin’s Holodeck Records. The release was followed that same year by an extensive tour of Europe. Automelodi resumed touring in 2023, with several dates across the USA, and is currently working on a collection of new songs, including some singles to be released in 2024/2025.

In parallel to his work as Automelodi, Paradis has also been very active over the past two decades as a music producer, focusing primarily on mixing and remixing for other projects and artists such as Bootblacks, Silent EM, The Harrow, and Laura Krieg.

Camp Blu emerged from Miami in late 2022, blending indie, surf, and post-punk influences with reverb-soaked guitars and punchy rhythms to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Their high-energy tracks are driven by melodic hooks and evocative vocals that swing between yearning and defiance—perfect for both the chaos of a live show and the introspection of a solo car ride.

Formed by longtime friends Frank Ferrer (bass) and Angelo Ruiz (vocals and rhythm guitar), who’ve known each other since 5th grade, the duo bonded over their love for bands like MGMT and Interpol. After playing with Daniel Cardona (lead guitar) at a local showcase, they connected over some drinks and shared experiences in Florida’s difficult-to-navigate music scene and a mutual desire to write music together. The trio quickly solidified their creative vision, forming Camp Blu and blending their influences into a unique sound.

Southeast emo band out of Miami, FL

Frogs Show Mercy is one part silly and one part serious. As you get to know the quartet, it’s impossible not to be charmed by the band members’ goofy antics, balanced by their profound dedication to musical growth. The band’s sound is an impressive blend of alternative, emo, math rock, postpunk, and shoegaze, with lyrics that touch on serious themes such as relationships, life, abandonment, and loneliness. However, the way the lyrics are delivered by vocalist and guitarist Yucky Poor, usually accompanied by a clever guitar melody, delivers the song’s message straight to the heart.

Vision Video + HADEE. + DJ Dino – Miami – 3/7/25

Heroes Live Entertainment presents Vision Video with special guests HADEE. + DJ Dino on Friday, March 7, 2025 @ Gramps in Miami.

Tickets: https://vvmiami.eventbrite.com

7:00PM (Doors) | 8:00PM (Show) | 21+

Vision Video is a post-punk goth rock band from Athens, Georgia that injects modern malaise into classic sounds of the late 70’s and 80’s. The band pays homage to classics like the Chameleons and The Cure, while also bringing a refreshing modern element to the genre.

Thematically their music explores the effects of trauma on the human psyche and finding stability and agency in an insane world. Having served in Afghanistan with the army and as a firefighter in the civilian world, lead singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon is no stranger to the darker proclivities of humanity and death itself. “I wanted to write music that helped people remember that it’s okay to not be okay, but that also doesn’t shy away from taking a stern look at the darker aspects of our flawed human existence.” says Gannon.

The band’s first two records were met with much critical praise, such as that from Pitchfork stating they created a “dreamy tune tailor-made for the sort of wallflower who sprints to the dancefloor the instant the DJ drops “Age of Consent” or “Primary” at Goth Night”. Their debut LP “Inked in Red” and second LP “Haunted Hours”, were recorded and mixed by Tom Ashton of The March Violets at his Sub Von Studios in Athens, Georgia.

Vision Video recorded their next LP “Modern Horror” at Maze Studios in Atlanta headed by Grammy award-winning producer Ben Allen.

The Hails + Never Ending Fall + REMYZ – Miami – 3/29/25

Following a string of encounters too strange to be coincidence, Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, Andre Escobar, and Zach Levy came together to form The Hails. Despite first playing in an insular Miami high school music scene, the band officially formed at the University of Florida in Gainesville, turning the tattered carpeting and beer bottle-lined shelves of their shitty college house into a distinct, refined sound that is now synonymous with their name.

After graduation, the group made the pilgrimage back to their home of Miami, the city that directly influenced the sound of their early shimmering singles “Younger” and “Stay”, debut EP He Seems Upset (2020), and the subsequent Alive in Strange Ways (2021). Recent highlights of the road include holding court at festivals including WonderStruck, Okeechobee, and Playground, interspersed between sold-out shows across the state of Florida. The first half of 2022 also saw The Hails join WILLIS for West and East Coast dates.

Firing the starting pistol of their next chapter, The Hails released “Exonerate” in October 2022, ushering in a flood of editorial praise from Billboard, Consequence, EARMILK, and many others excited by the direction the Miami five-piece is headed in. The same weekend as the single’s release, The Hails took it to the stage of Miami’s infamous III Points Festival, winning the crowd’s energy over with a track that had only been out for 24 hours.

In 2023 The Hails plan to release singles building towards a forthcoming debut album, and will continue to build their touring history starting with a southeastern run of shows with The Happy Fits and The Beaches.

Formed in the 4th grade, Never Ending Fall (NEF) is an indie-rock band comprised of lead singer and guitarist Jack Miller, drummer Tommy StClair, guitarist and keyboardist Conrad Boyd, guitarist Pearce Eisenhardt, and bassist Johnny Hohman. The Maryland natives’ repertoire combines sounds ranging from heavy-hitting alt-rock to funky basslines to lighter, electric feel-good melodies. Rising from their hit TikTok series and jingle, ‘Can it Kirkland’, the group has amassed the likes and views of millions worldwide with their undeniable talent, creativity, and chemistry. The 5-piece are now headlining tours and drawing sellout crowds in major US markets, backed by their surging fanbase. Never Ending Fall’s latest single ‘Taking It Slow‘ is available on all major streaming platforms, launching a new era for the band’s upcoming full-length album out Summer of 2024.

The REMYZ is a modern alternative rock band infused with funk, blues, and R&B. With a lineup comprising of Avery Davis, Oscar Familia, Justin Goldbot, Christian Martinez, and Christian Rolon, they are regarded as the most exciting band in Miami. Led by frontman Davis the compelling five-piece has built a formidable reputation playing at shows, concerts, festivals, house parties, malls, and bars all over the city. The bandmates have known each other since middle school but never became close until junior and senior years of high school when they started skipping jazz class together. Leaving during class the friends would go off to the auditorium where they would play on their own. Davis, a keyboardist, and singer, Martinez, a bassist, Goldbot a drummer, Rolon a guitarist, and Familia guitarist and backup singer. All members started out playing different instruments than the ones they currently play when they first started learning.

What the REMYZ have done is take the best elements of funk, RnB, and rock and make it their own creating a unique sound that fits their mold. After releasing 2 EPs, the REMYZ has gained a strong following in Miami. With building momentum, the REMYZ have brought their dynamic presence on tour from Florida to New York performing at multiple venues. Their most prominent performance was at the Miami Heat’s halftime show. The band has achieved other accolades during their stint as a musical group together. The band was awarded “2017 Band Of The Year” by the SSA Songwriters Showcase Association. Declared winners of the Hard Rock Rising Stars “2017 Battle Of The Bands” Miami. And champions of the Miami Heat & JBL Battle Of The Bands in 2019.

The disparate qualities of each musician’s styles are all what makes them great but where they shine as an act is onstage. The members’ talents individually and collectively come together when they perform live. Success for the band is very much a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Seeing the REMYZ live and witnessing their chemistry is truly a spectacle. Their phenomenal cohesion is due to a large degree to the group having known each other and playing together for years since they were in high school. Having such trust in one another allows the band to flourish as a whole and to blend their talents seamlessly, sparking an outlet of creative experimentation all but unprecedented in the scene of Miami.

Now guided primarily by frontwoman and co-founder Lynette Cerezo, whose vocals range from operatic, extended-technique furies to shouted monologues, the band are a medium for pure, intense emotion.

Bestial’s latest incarnation continues to channel new and experimental paths through the project’s original gothic post-punk roots. Led by Cerezo’s visceral, emotional voice and lyrics, and featuring beautifully brutal production from Brant Showers (AAIMON/SØLVE), Alex DeGroot (Zola Jesus) and Balázs Képli (nullius in verba) and a live incarnation with David Foster (HUREN/TESTE) and Raf Abr (FUROR) the music of Bestial Mouths is the journey of a soul shattered—then stapled back together by female rage and self-determination.

Hailing from Texas, Twin Tribes is an emerging force in the darkwave scene, turning heads in 2018 with the release of their debut album “Shadows” that featured dark melodic sounds, synthesizers, lyrics about the undead, and the occult and parallel universes. They returned in 2020 with the ten-track album “Ceremony” with an evolved sound that explored love and loss while showcasing their progression as a band.

With songs that are both dynamic and introspective, they balance the darker shades of the emotional spectrum with an energy and momentum that gifts their music a powerful sense of urgency and drama. Their lyrics dig deep into the personal turmoil of love, life and loss, and have forged a new aesthetic that fuses the gothic with the romantic, viewing emotional themes through a darker lens.

As their second LP gains increasing critical and commercial attention, these pillars of the independent music scene continue to re-define what genres such as darkwave and post-punk mean in 2023.

“Portland’s Dancing Plague masterly combines gloomy and brooding goth-tinged darkwave moods with intensely turbulent and uncompromising EBM and techno-driving rhythms peppered with emotionally charged lyrics and haunted by his unmistakable profound baritone. Depression, anxiety, and a solid understanding of mortality give his music an authenticity felt in the highly cathartic transference that takes place during his expulsion of inner demons.”

Here Come the Mummies is an eight-piece funk-rock band of 5000 year-old Egyptian Mummies with a one-track mind. Their “Terrifying Funk from Beyond the Grave” is sure to get you into them (and possibly vice versa).

Since their discovery, HCTM has been direct support for P-Funk, Al Green, Mavis Staples, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Cheap Trick; rocked Super Bowl Village; become a regular on The Bob and Tom Show; appeared on That’s My Jam with Jimmy Fallon; played massive festivals like Summer Fest, Summer Camp, Common Ground, Musikfest, and Suwannee Hulaween; and sold tickets by the thousands across large swaths of North America. Maybe that’s why the ladies (and some dudes) can’t stop losing their minds over these mayhem-inducing mavens of mirth.

Some say they were cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter. Others claim they are reincarnated Grammy-Winning studio musicians. Regardless, HCTM’s mysterious personas, cunning song-craft, and unrelenting live show will bend your brain, and melt your face. Get ready! Here Come The Mummies.
